Privacy policy
How we handle personal information across this website and visitor parking registration. We collect very little, and we explain each piece below.
Who we are

What this policy covers
This policy covers m6group.ca and the visitor parking registration service at m6parking.ca. If you are a client with a portal account, your account is also governed by the service agreement between us.
The software we use
We run our operations on FieldPad, a Canadian software platform provided by FieldPad Inc. FieldPad hosts the registration service and stores our records on our behalf, under contract, and may use that information only to provide the service to us. We remain accountable for it. FieldPad is our supplier, not a party you contract with.
Visitor parking registration
When you register a vehicle for visitor parking, we collect your licence plate, the building or lot code you were given by the property, and, if you choose to enter one, an email address so we can send you a confirmation or receipt. Email is optional. We do not ask for your name, home address, or phone number.
We use this to issue your parking permit and to let our officers confirm on site that your vehicle is authorised, so that a properly registered vehicle is not ticketed. We do not use it for marketing and we do not sell it.
Paid parking
Some properties allow a set number of free permits and charge for parking after that. Where a charge applies, payment is processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are handled under their terms. We do not see or store your full card number. We keep a record that a payment was made, and for what session, so we can honour it and issue a receipt.
The contact form
If you submit the form on our contact page, we collect the name, organisation, job title, email address, telephone number, property type, and message you provide. We use it for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if you ask for one, to arrange a property assessment.
The submission is delivered to our own mailbox at info@m6group.ca using Amazon Simple Email Service, which processes the message in transit. We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and this form does not add you to a marketing list.
Cookies
This website does not set analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. We do not profile visitors and we do not run a third-party analytics service on it. The registration service at m6parking.ca uses only the cookies strictly necessary to make the service work.
Where your information is kept
Registration records are stored in Canada, in Amazon Web Services' Canada (Central) region. This website is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and reliability. Stripe is operated by its own company and may process payment information outside Canada under its own terms.
How long we keep it
We keep registration records for one year, after which they are deleted. We may keep a record longer where we are required to, or where it relates to a notice that is still being disputed or an unresolved legal matter, and only for as long as that lasts.
Your rights under Canadian privacy law
The M6 Group is a Canadian company and handles personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw a consent you previously gave. Email info@m6group.ca and we will respond.
If your request concerns a parking notice, tell us the notice number and the plate, because that is how the record is indexed. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. We would appreciate the chance to resolve the matter with you first.
Children
Our services are intended for property managers, owners, and drivers. They are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

This site links to municipal websites and to our registration service. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites, and we encourage you to read the notice of any site you visit.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this policy and the date above.
