Terms of use
These terms cover this website and our visitor parking registration service. Services we provide to a property under contract are governed by that written agreement.
What these terms cover
These terms apply to m6group.ca and to the visitor parking registration service we operate at m6parking.ca. The services we provide to a property owner or manager are governed by the written agreement between us and that client, and where it differs from these terms, the agreement applies to that client.
We operate the registration service on FieldPad, a platform provided to us under contract by FieldPad Inc. When you register a vehicle you are dealing with The M6 Group. FieldPad Inc. is our supplier and is not a party to these terms.
Registering a vehicle
Registration is available for visitors to properties we are engaged to patrol. To register you need your licence plate and the building or lot code, which comes from the property. Ask the person you are visiting, or the superintendent or concierge. We cannot issue a code, because each property sets its own.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. A permit is matched to the plate exactly as you type it, so a typo means the permit does not cover your vehicle, and a notice may still be issued. Check it before you submit.
A permit authorises the vehicle you registered, at the property you selected, for the period shown. It is not a reserved space and it does not guarantee that a space is available. It does not override the property's own rules, fire routes, accessible spaces, or any signage on site, and it does not apply to any other property.
Do not register a plate that is not yours in order to obtain parking you are not entitled to, and do not use the service to evade a property's limits on visitor parking. We may cancel a permit obtained that way.
Paid parking
Some properties allow a set number of free permits and charge for parking after that allowance is used. Where a charge applies, the amount is shown before you confirm. Payment is processed by Stripe under their terms, and your card details go directly to them.
Paying for a session covers the vehicle, property, and period you selected. Payments are final and we do not offer refunds, including where you leave before the period you paid for has ended. If you believe you have been charged in error, for example billed twice for the same session, email info@m6group.ca with the plate and the date and we will look into it.
Parking notices
We issue notices on behalf of the property under its parking rules and the administrative penalty or municipal process that applies there. If you receive a notice and want to dispute it, that request goes to the municipality named on the notice, not to us. We are not the body that decides a dispute, and we cannot cancel, reduce, or waive a notice that has been issued.
Payment and dispute deadlines are set by each municipality and differ between them. Rely on the date printed on your notice.
Information on this site
The content here describes our services in general terms. It is not a quotation, a contract, or a guarantee of a particular outcome, and service availability, scope, and pricing depend on the property and on a written agreement. Nothing on this site creates a contract between us.
Where we summarise municipal parking rules, ticket procedures, or payment and dispute deadlines, we do so for convenience. Municipalities change them without notice to us. Always rely on the notice you received and on the municipality named on it.
Our content
The text, design, logos, and images on this site belong to The M6 Group or are used with permission, and are protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark law. You may view, download, and print pages for your own use in evaluating our services. You may not republish, sell, or use our content or branding commercially, or present it as your own, without our written permission.
Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to interfere with this site, the registration service, or the systems behind them, gain unauthorised access to any part of them, submit false information through our forms, use automated tools to scrape or overload them, or use them for any unlawful purpose.
Links to other websites
We link to municipal websites and other third-party resources for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
Availability and accuracy
We aim to keep this site and the registration service accurate and available, but we provide them as-is. We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every detail is current at the moment you read it. To the extent permitted by law, The M6 Group is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or the registration service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Canadian law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute relating to this website or the registration service is subject to the courts of Ontario.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always the one published here, with the date shown above.
